Parkside Summer Kickback
Bringing back our monthly events have been an incredible hit with our community. Each month teens gather for good, wholesome fun, all centered around joy and connection. This month, we enjoyed the sunshine and classic park fun.
We headed to a beautiful park in Murray to enjoy volleyball in the sand, an incredible game of kickball, skateboarding, and a game of mafia- a Common Thread classic. To add a fun spin and beat the heat, we included a soda bar, which is quickly becoming a big hit with our community.
There was so much laughter and fun, but more importantly, teens were connecting with each other, everyone was relaxed, and both teens and adults enjoyed themselves. In these spaces, friendships are made and healing begins to happen.
