A Seat at the Table: Redefining the Holiday Experience for Teens

This holiday season, we made an intentional shift toward a more intimate, experience-based gathering—one that centered connection, dignity, and creating something truly memorable for the teens we serve.
In partnership with Hill Top Hospitality and Urban Hill, we had the opportunity to host 45 teens for an incredible fine dining experience. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this day would be special. The space was beautiful—elegant, welcoming, and perfectly suited to make each teen feel valued.
Each teen was invited to order from a thoughtfully curated menu, with dishes prepared by Chef Nick and served by an attentive and generous wait staff who went above and beyond to make the experience feel meaningful. For many of our teens, this was their first time in a setting like this—and it showed in the excitement, curiosity, and joy around the table.
After brunch, the fun continued with a few classic favorites. Laughter filled the room as we played left, right, center and shared in the excitement of opening cellophane balls packed with prizes. These moments of play added another layer of connection and celebration to the day.
To close out the event, each teen received a personalized gift—generously provided by a group from our community who continues to faithfully show up for us each holiday season. Their consistency and care are a powerful reminder that our teens are seen, known, and supported.
We are deeply grateful to every partner and supporter who helped make this day possible. What we created together was more than just an event—it was an experience rooted in belonging, joy, and intentional care. We know this is a day our teens will remember for years to come, and it has inspired us to continue creating more moments like this in the future.
