About the event
We invite you to join us on April 11th for our annual Roots and Wings program—Trailblazers!
In partnership with Tollgate, we’re offering a unique opportunity for teens to connect with horses and nature through our Equine Therapy program, guided by licensed professionals. Throughout the program, trauma-informed adult mentors will also be present to support each teen’s individual needs.
The program will meet for eight weeks, while skipping May 23rd for Memorial Day weekend. We'll be meeting at 8:45am at a to-be-determined location in the Salt Lake Valley, and leave around 9:00am to travel to the facility. The program itself will be from 10:00am-12:00pm, and we will arrive back at the meetup spot at 1:00pm. We will be providing transportation to the facility, but you will be responsible for transportation to the meet up spot. That location will be determined as the program approaches.
